  • The dust pollution brought by construction activity not only deteriorates the environment but also causes respiratory health issues to the workers and surrounding citizens. According to the Hong Kong Air Pollution Control (Construction Dust) Regulation, the constructor have to adopted dust prevention action to minimize the dust emitted.


  • To effectively monitor dust levels and ensure the regulation compliance of the constructors, The Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department (EPD) has utilized advanced technology, specifically the Sapiens MAS-Dust sensor. Sapiens MAS-Dust sensors are strategically placed at the boundaries of the construction site, providing real-time monitoring of the total suspended particulate matter (TSP).
