PEK

Measure your personal exposure, anywhere. The Personal Exposure Kit (PEK) tracks ppb-level gas and particle pollutants plus environmental factors like temperature, humidity, noise, motion, and light intensity. As portable as your smartphone, carry it effortlessly throughout your day. Equipped with Sapiens' patented dynamic baseline correction and trusted by exposure scientists worldwide, the PEK delivers research-grade accuracy for reliable personal exposure data.
  • Comprehensive Multi-Pollutant Monitoring
PEK can measure a broad range of air pollutants including particulate matter (PM₁, PM₂.₅, PM₁₀), NO₂, O₃, CO, SO₂, and offers additional optional measurements for NO, CO₂, and TVOC. This capability allows for an extensive assessment of air quality, crucial for understanding the environmental impacts on public health and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Advanced Sensor Technology with Sapiens\' patented Pair Differential Filter (PDF)
Incorporating Sapiens' patented PDF technology, the PEK achieves highly accurate gas measurements at ppb levels by auto-tracking and correcting baseline drifts in sensor signals. This reduces the impact of environmental noise and sensor drift, ensuring the reliability and precision of data for critical health and safety evaluations and scientific research.
  • Real-Time Data Transmission and Visualization
PEK supports multiple data transmission options (4G, WiFi, and Bluetooth) and integrates seamlessly with the Sapiens Sensor App, which provides real-time mapping and graphing of pollution measurements. This functionality allows for immediate access to and visualization of data, critical for making informed decisions quickly in response to changing environmental conditions.
  • Calibration and Validation
    1) Factory calibration: Every Sapiens Sensor device is factory pre-calibrated before shipping. 2) Lab calibration: Devices can be sent to the Sapiens Sensor Care Service Centre for NIST-traceable factory calibration. 3) Field calibration: A Humidified Multi-Point (HMP) portable calibrator, along with calibration gas cylinders, can be used for field calibration. 4) Collocation calibration: Devices can be collocated at or near an Air Quality Monitoring Station (AQMS) to facilitate remote collocation calibration.
Efficient Project Management & Device Management
SEIN is Sapiens’ exclusive online platform for managing accounts, projects, and devices, as well as accessing real-time data collected by the sensor network. The platform provides a comprehensive set of features tailored to meet the needs of project managers, sensor users, quality control managers, and data analysts.
    Portability and Energy Efficiency
As portable as your smartphone, carry it effortlessly throughout your day.
